Used to Predict the Likelihood of Future Evictions
This public record search is via a national evictions database and is searched by using the subject’s social security number. If considered a civil judgment, evictions are added to the public records section of a credit report. This usually occurs when a tenant is served with an eviction notice, but refuses to evacuate the property. In most states, evictions stay on record for seven years.
